For activities in/around Lowther Plantation, we meet at the car park on the Cold Fell road at the south eastern edge of the plantation (opposite Swarth Fell).

To get to the car park, drive towards Ennerdale Bridge.  As you approach the village from Cleator Moor turn right onto the Cold Fell road (sign posted to Gosforth and Calder Bridge).  Follow this road for approximately 2.5 miles - the car park is on the edge of the forest.
