Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from 1st Hensingham Scout Group joined Explorers from Phoenix Explorer Scout Unit to take part in Sunday's Remembrance Parade alongside veterans and serving members of the armed forces, local cadet units, and other local organisations and the general public in Whitehaven town centre.
We paraded from the Copeland Centre on Catherine Street to the memorial in Lowther Park where they took part in the act of Remembrance and laid a wreath. The parade then marched back Lowther Street and King Street to the market.
Group Scout Leader Alf Branch said: "Once again, we had a great turn out from our young members, and their families, to commemorate the sacrifices made by those who serve our Country."
